Privacy Policy - Vurnela
1) What Vurnela does
Vurnela helps two people view a paper together during a live session. One person points their camera at the page; the other can request a clear still, freeze a page to point, and keep a shared checklist. Vurnela is provided by Saifullah Ahad.
2) Data Vurnela handles
Vurnela uses the camera and microphone only while a live session needs them. Camera frames, requested stills, voice packets, and frozen-page annotations are sent between the two people through an encrypted connection. They are held in memory only to deliver the live session and are not saved to Vurnela servers, logs, files, or a document store.
The app creates a temporary session code. A shared checklist can contain short field labels and a status such as empty, filled, need document, or ask helper. The checklist is stored on the device and temporarily in the session service so the two participants can reconnect; it is automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity. Do not put sensitive document numbers or other unnecessary personal information in checklist labels.
3) How data is used
Camera and microphone access are used only to run the live paperwork session. Frames and audio are used to deliver the view and conversation. Checklist data is used only to synchronize the checklist between the two people. Vurnela has no account, profile, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, OCR, or document-reading service.
4) Sharing and service providers
Live session traffic is relayed when a direct peer route is unavailable through a Cloudflare Worker operated for Vurnela. The relay is a transient delivery path: it does not persist document frames, stills, raw audio, or annotations. Checklist state may be stored briefly in the relay's session storage for reconnection. Vurnela does not sell data or share it for advertising.
5) Retention and deletion
Live frames, stills, raw audio, and annotations are discarded after delivery. A high-resolution still is created in temporary app cache only while sending and is deleted immediately afterward. Local checklist state is removed when app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Relay checklist state expires automatically after 30 days of inactivity. 6) Your controls
- You can deny or revoke Camera and Microphone permissions in Android Settings.
- You can leave a session at any time.
- You can block a session code on your device and report a concern from the in-app Safety screen.
- You can clear app storage or uninstall Vurnela to remove local checklist data.
7) Children's policy and safety
Vurnela is intended for adults helping a person they know. It is not directed to children under 13. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation and provide a report and block path in the app. Read our Child Safety Standards for reporting and enforcement details.
8) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Vurnela changes. The current version is published at privacy.saifullah.ai/vurnela.html.
