Privacy Policy — Aikaisin
1) Who we are
Aikaisin is provided by Saifullah Ahad ("we", "us", "our"). Questions and privacy requests may be sent to www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com. Our website is saifullah.ai.
2) What Aikaisin does
Aikaisin lets an invite-only neighbourhood of growers exchange anonymous crop observations and estimate when a reported field signal may approach another field. It is an early-warning coordination tool, not a disease diagnosis or treatment service.
3) Information handled by the app
Aikaisin does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or exact field coordinates. To provide its core features, it handles:
- Anonymous credentials: a random app-generated device identifier, a public signing key, request sequence counters, and revocation status. The private signing key remains protected on your device.
- Neighbourhood and field data: invite-only membership, crop choice, a coarse weather cell rounded to one decimal (roughly an 11 km grid), field-size band, anonymous field nodes, and boundary relationships such as road, canal, or shared boundary.
- Shared activity: signed clear-field or symptom-family observations, crop, anonymous source, timestamps, withdrawal state, and synchronisation order. Aikaisin has no free-text posting, photo posting, public profile, or public map.
- Safety reports: the anonymous reporting device, the reported event, a fixed reason category, and report time. Blocking choices are also kept locally on your device.
- Weather and app settings: wind and rainfall returned for the coarse cell; optional app PIN settings, lock preferences, reduced motion, and sync state stored locally.
4) Location and nearby-device permissions
Location is optional. If you choose Use my area, Aikaisin reads a recent device location and immediately rounds latitude and longitude to one decimal before saving or sending the weather cell. You may instead type a coarse cell and deny location access.
Bluetooth, nearby Wi-Fi, and nearby-device permissions are requested only when you start direct phone transfer. Android 11 and earlier label nearby discovery as Location; Aikaisin does not read GPS during that transfer flow. Biometric permission lets Android confirm your identity locally and does not give Aikaisin biometric data.
5) How information is used
- Build the anonymous field-adjacency graph and synchronise an invite-only neighbourhood.
- Verify that observations came from a consistent anonymous device and limit one source from dominating an estimate.
- Calculate evidence-labelled arrival windows from field relationships, signed history, wind, and rain.
- Deliver accepted phone-to-phone history when field internet is unavailable.
- Review reports, block abusive use, protect users, and comply with legal safety duties.
6) Services that process data
- Cloudflare Workers and D1: operate Aikaisin’s API and database over encrypted HTTPS. Cloudflare may process standard connection information such as an IP address for routing and security; Aikaisin does not place an IP address in a farmer profile.
- Open-Meteo: receives the rounded weather-cell coordinates to return wind and precipitation. It does not receive the Aikaisin device identifier, public key, invite code, crop report, or field graph.
- Google Play services Nearby Connections: discovers an accepted nearby Aikaisin device and transfers a signed anonymous bundle directly between the two devices after both users compare and accept the displayed code.
Accepted members of the same neighbourhood receive the anonymous field graph, signed shared events, and public verification keys needed to verify them. They do not receive your name, contact details, exact location, or private forecast. We do not sell personal information and use no advertising or behavioural-analytics SDK.
7) Storage, security, and retention
Local data is stored in Android app storage. Signing keys use Android’s secure key facilities, and optional app-lock verification stays on the device. Server requests are signed and sent using HTTPS.
Local records remain until you use the in-app deletion control, clear app storage, or uninstall. Active server field records and signed events remain while needed for the neighbourhood history or until the source device deletes its data. Weather-cell readings may be cached because they are not tied to a named person.
8) Deletion and your controls
- Allow, deny, or revoke location, Bluetooth, nearby-device, and biometric permissions in Android Settings.
- Block any anonymous source and report any shared event from its item menu.
- Open Settings → Delete account and data → Delete my data to remove local records and request removal of this device’s active server fields, events, and submitted moderation reports. The anonymous device credential and membership are retained only as revoked records so that the deleted credential cannot be reused.
- Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local data but cannot authenticate a server deletion request; use the in-app deletion action first when possible.

9) Children’s privacy and safety
Aikaisin is a general agricultural utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). It does not knowingly collect names or contact information from children. Any exploitation or endangerment of a child is prohibited. Use the in-app report control or email the child-safety contact immediately; the complete standards are linked above.
10) International processing and legal disclosure
Cloud services may process information outside your country. We may preserve or disclose narrowly necessary records when required by law or to investigate fraud, abuse, threats, or child-safety concerns.
11) Changes and contact
We may update this policy when Aikaisin’s practices change. The current version and effective date will remain at this URL.
