Child Safety Standards — Punutis

Developer: Saifullah Ahad · Package: ai.saifullah.punutis · Effective date: 14 August 2026

1) Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation

Punutis strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This prohibition applies to every note, photo, voice recording, animal record, parent claim, report, and other item exchanged through the app.

2) Prohibited content and conduct

Users must never use Punutis to create, keep, request, or exchange:

3) How Punutis sharing works

Punutis has no public feed, user account service, or central content server. A user deliberately starts an encrypted nearby exchange with another device on the local network. Content received from another keeper remains attributable in the signed local audit trail.

The absence of a central server does not reduce these standards. Every participant is responsible for keeping unlawful content out of the shared braid and acting immediately when a child may be at risk.

4) In-app reporting and blocking

Because Punutis has no moderation server, an in-app report stays on the device and is not automatically delivered to Saifullah Ahad. For developer review, also email the child-safety contact below. Do not email or forward suspected CSAM itself; provide non-explicit identifying details and follow law-enforcement instructions.

5) Reporting a child-safety concern

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first.

6) Response and cooperation

When Saifullah Ahad receives a credible child-safety report, he will assess the report promptly, preserve lawful non-explicit information needed for the response, and report apparent CSAM or CSAE to the appropriate authority when required by law. Punutis will cooperate with valid legal requests.

Since there are no central accounts or server-hosted posts, the developer cannot remotely remove a record from participants' phones. Participants can block the source, delete their local braid, preserve relevant evidence for authorities, and stop exchanging with the device.

7) Privacy and evidence handling

Do not copy, resend, or unnecessarily retain exploitative material. Never attach suspected CSAM to an email report. Share only the minimum non-explicit information needed to identify the concern, and follow instructions from qualified authorities.
