Wuquf ("the app") is a structured Quran-knowledge learning app developed by Saifullah Ahad. It is designed with strict privacy principles, keeping your learning offline and private.
1. Data We Collect
The app operates entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, progress, or analytics to any external server. All of your learning data and XP remains securely on your local device.
2. Permissions Requested
The app requests the following permissions to function:
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used solely to deliver local daily reminders to continue your learning journey. This operates entirely on-device.
- Internet (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used exclusively for the "Send Feedback" feature to securely transmit your message. No background tracking or data collection occurs.
3. Advertising and Tracking
Wuquf is completely free of advertisements, tracking pixels, and analytics SDKs. There is no tracking of your activity.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
When you voluntarily use the "Send Feedback" feature, the app securely transmits your message directly via Web3Forms. Web3Forms acts solely as a mail delivery service and does not share or sell your data. We do not share any data with any other third party.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Because all your learning progress and app data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete your data at any time by clearing the app data in your device settings or simply uninstalling the app. Since no data is stored on our servers, there is no remote account to delete.
6. Children's Policy
While Wuquf is an educational tool safe for all ages, it does not collect any personal information from children or any other users. The app complies fully with all applicable child safety standards by keeping all activity local.
7. Changes to This Policy
If future updates require new permissions, this policy will be updated to explain exactly why they are needed. However, the core principle of never collecting or monetizing user data will remain unchanged.
