Privacy Policy - Wenjara

1) Who we are

Wenjara is provided by Saifullah Ahad ("we", "us", "our"). Our website is https://saifullah.ai.

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

2) What Wenjara does

Wenjara helps families and small groups stay together in dense public spaces. One phone starts a temporary walk, other nearby phones join by code or QR, and the app turns short-range radio contact into broad proximity bands such as Beside you, Close, Getting far, and Out of range.

Wenjara does not create a user account, does not show a map position, and does not upload walk history to a developer-operated cloud backend.

3) Information handled during a walk

To make the temporary walk work, Wenjara handles limited session data on the participating phones:

your chosen display name;
the temporary session code and expected walk length;
the meeting-point text entered by the starter;
proximity-band, age, trend, and alert state derived from short-range radio contact;
local calibration data used to improve the honesty of the broad proximity bands.

This walk data is stored locally on the phones in the walk. It is also transmitted directly between nearby participant phones because that is how Wenjara shows shared presence and alerts.

Wenjara does not collect exact GPS location, does not create a route history, and does not upload walk data to our servers.

4) Permissions we request

Bluetooth permissions: used for nearby discovery, advertising, and live presence updates.
Camera: used only if you choose to scan a starter's QR code.
Notifications and vibration: used for drift warnings and meeting-point alerts.
Foreground service: used to keep an active walk running while the screen is off.
Fine and coarse location on Android 11 and lower only: older Android versions tied BLE scanning to location permission. Wenjara does not use these permissions to show your GPS position or a map.

5) Optional feedback

Wenjara includes optional Send feedback and report actions. These actions use Android's ACTION_SENDTO mechanism to open your chosen email app with www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com as the recipient.

Wenjara does not send the message, read your email account, or receive anything unless you review and send the email yourself. Your email provider handles any message you choose to send under its own privacy terms.

6) Sharing

Walk-session data is shared only with the other phones that join the same temporary walk. We do not sell user data and we do not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.

7) Data retention and deletion

Walk-session data is stored locally on device and is intended to be temporary. Ending the walk, clearing app data from Android Settings, or uninstalling Wenjara removes that local data from the device.

Wenjara does not store feedback or report drafts. Messages you send are retained by your email provider and our support inbox according to their normal email controls. You can request deletion from our support inbox by emailing www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com.

8) Security and transport note

Wenjara is designed for direct nearby coordination, but it does not promise perfect secrecy or rediscovery. The temporary walk data exchanged between participant phones is not presented as a fully encrypted transport. Start and join walks only with people you trust and do the join step in person.

9) Children's privacy

Wenjara is a general-use coordination tool and is not directed to children under 13 to use independently. It has no account system and no child-directed profile collection. Wenjara prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, and material that exploits or endangers children. The app includes report actions beside shared participant names and meeting-point text plus a dedicated Child Safety screen. 10) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Wenjara changes. We will post the updated version at https://privacy.saifullah.ai/wenjara.html and update the effective date above.
