VenomGuide Privacy Policy
Developer: Saifullah Ahad
Effective 12 September 2026
VenomGuide provides snakebite first-aid information and a personal care record. It is not an emergency dispatch service or a medical device.
Information stored on your device
You may enter a bite location or estimated time, patient notes, allergies, medicines, symptoms, measurements and actions. The app stores these care records, timestamps, unfinished observation drafts, appearance settings and an optional emergency number in its private local storage.
Unknown fields remain unknown. The app does not determine your location or retrieve health information from other apps.
No automatic uploads
VenomGuide has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, remote database or automatic record upload. The app does not request internet, camera, microphone, location, contacts or broad storage access. Bundled guidance and local records work without a network connection.
Optional App lock
You can enable a separate VenomGuide PIN or biometric unlock. A random salt and a PIN hash are stored locally; the plaintext PIN is not stored. Android performs fingerprint or face authentication. VenomGuide never receives your biometric templates. Android biometric permissions support this optional feature.
App lock restricts access in the app; it is not an additional encrypted database. Android protects the application's private storage. Backup and device-to-device transfer of the app's private data are excluded. Public immediate-help information remains available while records are locked.
Sharing, exporting and external apps
Only when you choose to do so, VenomGuide can copy a handoff to your clipboard, open your chosen sharing app with its text, or write a PDF to a destination selected through Android's document picker. The record may include sensitive health details. Check the destination and recipient. Files, clipboard entries and recipient copies are outside VenomGuide's control and are subject to the receiving app or service's practices.
Emergency-number controls open the dialer and do not place a call automatically. Source links, developer links and privacy links open a browser or another suitable app. An external service may receive ordinary request information, such as your IP address, when you choose to open it.
Feedback and safety reports
Feedback opens an email draft in your email app. If you send it, Saifullah Ahad receives the message, your email address and any information you include. Do not include patient information. Support messages are used to respond and resolve the issue, and retained only as needed for support or applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request deletion of a support message.
Retention and deletion
Records remain locally until you delete them in VenomGuide or remove the app's data. Use Delete record within a record or Delete all care records in Settings. Uninstalling removes the app's private data. Deleting a record does not delete PDFs, clipboard content, sent messages or copies stored by another app. Manage those copies separately.
Children and safety
VenomGuide is intended for people arranging care and is not a social network. There are no public profiles, posts or in-app messaging. Avoid entering unnecessary identifying information about a child. Child sexual abuse and exploitation are prohibited. Read our Child Safety Standards.
Contact and changes
For privacy, deletion or safety concerns, contact Saifullah Ahad at www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com. This policy will be updated when the app's practices change. The effective date above identifies this version.
