Tawthiq is designed to be fully offline and privacy-first. We collect almost no information.
- Information you provide: If you use the "Send Feedback" feature, you may voluntarily provide your email address and message content.
- App activity: Tawthiq does NOT collect analytics, crash logs, or telemetry data.
- Camera permissions: The camera is used strictly locally to scan QR codes for adding 2FA accounts. The images never leave your device.
4) How we use information
- Feedback data: Used only to read your feedback and communicate with you about support requests.
5) Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only in these limited cases:
- Service Providers: We use Web3Forms to relay messages you send via the in-app "Send Feedback" form directly to our email inbox. Web3Forms acts only as a mail relay.
- Legal requirements: Only if strictly required by law or a valid legal process.
6) Data retention and deletion
- Local data: All your 2FA accounts and settings are stored locally on your device in an encrypted format. You can delete them at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data.
- Feedback messages: We retain support emails as long as necessary to address your concerns, after which they are deleted.
7) Children's Privacy
Our App does not target children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.
8) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Effective date" and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
