SubtitleShift Privacy Policy

1. What SubtitleShift Does

SubtitleShift is a subtitle repair studio. Version 2.0 adds SRT and WebVTT editing, two-point drift correction, local video preview, and recovery of unfinished work. Subtitle processing runs on your device. Version 2.0 has no Internet permission.

2. Files and Personal Data

No account is required. SubtitleShift does not collect or upload your subtitle text, files, videos, contacts, location, calendar data, advertising identifiers, analytics events, or payment information.

You choose individual subtitle and video files through Android's document picker. The app reads those files for editing and playback. It saves a corrected copy only to the destination you select and does not automatically overwrite your originals.

3. Drafts and Recovery

Version 2.0 saves one draft in app-private storage on your device. It contains the imported subtitle text, edited captions, timing settings, and a reference to the selected video. The video itself is not copied into the draft. A temporary export copy can also be kept privately while the save picker is open.

Close the workspace to remove the saved draft and any pending export copy. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes app-private data. Android cloud backup is disabled for the app. Exported files remain where you chose to save them and can be deleted through your file manager.

4. Clipboard and Sharing

If you copy subtitles, their text is placed on the Android clipboard. Android and other apps manage clipboard access according to your device settings. SubtitleShift does not use advertising, analytics, billing, social SDKs, or cloud subtitle processing.

5. Feedback

In version 2.0, Send feedback opens your email app. You choose the message and whether to send it. Your email provider handles the message. The developer uses received email for support, bug reports, and product improvement. Feedback may be kept as long as needed for those purposes. To request deletion, email www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com.

6. Earlier Versions

Earlier releases may offer an optional in-app feedback form relayed by Web3Forms. Only when you submit that form, it sends your message, optional email address, app version, and basic device model details to support diagnosis. Earlier releases do not upload subtitle files. Version 2.0 replaces that form with an email intent and removes network permissions.

7. Children's Policy

SubtitleShift is a general media utility and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated when app behavior changes. The effective date will be revised when updates are published.
