Privacy Policy - SkyPulse
1) Introduction and what SkyPulse does
SkyPulse is provided by Saifullah Ahad ("we", "us", "our"). SkyPulse is a passenger flight companion for informational readings, journey records, personal notes, and guided breathing exercises.
2) Information handled on your device
During a real flight session that you explicitly start, SkyPulse may process approximate or precise location, timestamps, altitude, speed, bearing, GPS accuracy, and available pressure, motion, compass, and satellite-status readings. It may store accepted route points and derived distance, phase, smoothness, and record values in the app's private local storage.
SkyPulse also stores route labels you enter, marked moments, journal notes, and app settings locally. Preview Flight uses built-in sample data and is not added to history.
Flight routes, location samples, moments, journal entries, and settings are not transmitted to the developer or Web3Forms.
3) Information collected when you send feedback
If you open About Developer, tap Send feedback, and submit the form, SkyPulse collects only the information in that user-initiated submission:
- Message text: used for app support, bug reports, or feature suggestions.
- Email address: optional and used only to reply. It is omitted when you leave the email field blank.
- Diagnostics footer: app name and version, Android version, device manufacturer, and device model, used to reproduce technical problems.
No feedback is sent until you tap Send. The form does not attach location, routes, journal content, contacts, advertising identifiers, or other content stored inside SkyPulse.
4) How information is used
Local flight and journal data is used only to provide the screens and controls you choose inside SkyPulse. Feedback submissions are used only to respond to support requests, investigate bugs, and consider product improvements.
5) Data sharing and third-party processing
SkyPulse has no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, account, or cloud-sync SDK. Optional feedback is sent over HTTPS to Web3Forms, an email-relay provider, which delivers it to the developer's inbox. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
Web3Forms acts as a service provider for delivery. We do not sell feedback data or use it for advertising.
6) Optional Send Feedback
The Send Feedback form is optional and contains a message field and an optional reply email. Technical metadata is appended after you tap Send. If the email field is blank, the developer receives no reply address. You may request deletion of a submitted message by emailing www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com.
7) Location and foreground recording
Location permission is requested only when you choose to start a real recording. SkyPulse does not request Android background-location permission. An active session may continue with the screen off through an Android location foreground service, which displays a persistent notification. The service stops when you finish the flight.
You can deny or revoke location access in Android Settings. Preview Flight, Journal, Calm Cabin, History, and settings remain available without location permission.
8) Sharing, export, retention, and deletion
SkyPulse can prepare a flight summary or JSON export and hand it to an Android system share or document action only after your tap. The destination app or service you choose has its own privacy practices. SkyPulse itself does not upload the content.
- Flight routes, moments, notes, and settings remain in local app storage until you delete them.
- You can delete an individual saved flight.
- More → Delete all local data removes all SkyPulse flights, route points, markers, notes, and settings.
- Clearing app storage or uninstalling SkyPulse removes its local data.
- Android backup is disabled for SkyPulse.
- Feedback remains in the developer's email only as long as needed for support and troubleshooting, unless legal obligations require longer retention.
9) Permissions
- Approximate and precise location: route, speed, altitude, heading, distance, and flight phase during a user-started recording.
- Foreground service and location service type: visible active recording with the screen off.
- Notifications: the required active-recording notification on supported Android versions.
- Wake lock: sampling continuity only while an active session is running.
- Internet and network state: check connectivity and submit optional feedback only after you tap Send.
10) Children's privacy
SkyPulse is a general travel utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted feedback, contact us so it can be deleted.
11) Safety and accuracy
GPS reception and phone sensors vary, especially inside aircraft. SkyPulse is not certified flight instrumentation, a navigation tool, a weather source, an emergency service, or safety equipment. Never use it for aircraft navigation, operational, weather, emergency, or safety decisions.
12) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will publish changes at https://privacy.saifullah.ai/skypulse.html with a revised effective date.
