RISD Learn Privacy Policy

1. About RISD Learn

RISD Learn is a Nursery learning app for Righteous International School, Dhaka. It provides original interactive lessons, class-linked homework, scores, teacher stamps, and a parent progress area based on the school's learning syllabus.

The app is directed to young children and is intended for supervised use by the school community, including students, parents, teachers, and school authorities.

2. Data We Collect

RISD Learn collects only information needed to operate its learning and school workflows:

• A student's first name, class link, lesson progress, stars, activity, homework submissions, scores, and teacher stamps.
• Teacher-created class records, class join codes, student first-name lists, assignments, and submission reviews.
• Teacher and authority email addresses, Firebase user IDs, and authentication credentials used for secure staff sign-in. Students do not need an email account.
• If a parent sends feedback: the message, an optional reply email, app version, Android version, device manufacturer, and device model.

The app does not request a child's photo, contact details, precise location, contacts, calendar, financial information, health data, advertising identifier, or browsing history.

3. How We Use Data

• Show lessons and save a child's learning progress.
• Let authorized teachers manage classes, assign work, review submissions, and record encouraging stamps.
• Let a parent view the claimed child's homework, progress, scores, and weekly activity.
• Authenticate authorized teacher and school-authority accounts.
• Respond to parent-initiated feedback and reproduce reported technical problems.

Data is not used for behavioral advertising, profiling, or sale.

4. Services and Data Sharing

Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore: Google Firebase provides staff sign-in, class records, homework, submissions, and synchronized school data. Network traffic uses encrypted HTTPS connections.

Web3Forms: When a parent chooses to send feedback, Web3Forms processes the submitted message and optional reply email as a relay to the developer's inbox. Its policy is available at web3forms.com/privacy.

These providers process data only to deliver the app functions described above. RISD Learn does not include advertising, analytics, public posting, or user-to-user messaging services.

5. Retention and Deletion

School class and homework records are retained while the school needs them for learning and administration. Local progress remains on the device until the app data is cleared or the app is removed. Feedback is retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer or resolve the reported issue.

To request access, correction, or deletion of RISD Learn data, email www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com. Requests involving school records may be verified with the school before action is taken.

6. Send Feedback

The Send feedback feature is inside the parent-gated About screen. Nothing is transmitted until the parent enters a message and taps Send. An email address is optional; leaving it blank sends no reply address.

The technical footer contains only app name and version, Android version, device manufacturer, and device model. It does not include contacts, child records, account content, advertising IDs, or location.

7. Children's Privacy

RISD Learn is designed for young learners. Child-facing areas avoid public communication, public profiles, external sharing, behavioral advertising, and purchase prompts. Parent and staff functions are separated from the learning area by role controls and a parent gate.

If a parent or guardian believes information was entered incorrectly or should be removed, they can use the contact address below.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the app's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published.
