Child Safety Standards — RawiLoom
1) Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
RawiLoom prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, sexual solicitation of minors, trafficking, and any attempt to move a child into unsafe private contact. This applies to circle names, display names, messages, replies, and reading plans.
2) Other prohibited conduct
- Threats, stalking, harassment, or instructions that endanger a child.
- Requests for sexual material involving anyone under 18.
- Sharing, requesting, linking to, or normalizing CSAM.
- Impersonation intended to gain a child's trust or evade a block.
- Sectarian, religious, ethnic, gender-based, or national-origin abuse, dehumanization, or incitement.
3) Prevention and moderation
- Google-linked identity is required before a person can join or create a circle.
- Circle messages and names pass through server-side safety screening and rate limits before storage.
- Firestore rules prevent the Android client from bypassing the moderated write gateway.
- Every discussion message has report and block actions; circle owners also have member-removal controls.
- A dedicated Child Safety screen is permanently available in the app navigation.
4) How to report
- In app: open the three-dot safety menu beside the message, then choose Report message. Choose Block this member to hide their content immediately.

- Immediate danger: contact local emergency services or law enforcement first.
- United States reports: use the NCMEC CyberTipline.
5) Review and enforcement
Safety reports enter a restricted review queue. We may hide content, remove a member, close a circle, preserve relevant evidence, suspend access, and report suspected child exploitation to appropriate authorities as required by law. Knowingly false or abusive reports may also result in enforcement.
