Privacy Policy - Pwyso
1) Who we are
Pwyso is provided by Saifullah Ahad ("we", "us", or "our"). Portfolio: saifullah.ai. Privacy questions can be sent to www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com.
2) What Pwyso does
Pwyso pairs two nearby Android phones on the same local network, captures two views of one livestock animal, reconstructs body measurements on the lead phone, and reports a conservative weight range when the evidence passes its quality checks. Accepted ranges can be saved locally as a growth history.
3) Camera images and paired transfer
Pwyso requests the Android CAMERA permission only to take the paired photos you
initiate. Each phone captures a full-resolution image. The companion phone sends its image
directly to the lead phone over the local network. That transfer is protected with an
authenticated, session-specific AES-GCM encrypted channel established by the pairing code.
Only the paired sender and recipient hold the session key; there is no relay or developer server.
Captures are temporary working files in app cache. They are deleted after companion delivery, after an accepted result is saved, when the measurement session is cleared, or during the next app start if an earlier session ended unexpectedly. Photos are not added to the device gallery and are not retained in growth history.
4) Local network access
Android network and Wi-Fi permissions are used for local service discovery, pairing, timing synchronization, and encrypted image delivery between the two phones. Pwyso does not use those permissions to upload information to us or to a cloud service.
5) Information stored on your device
When you use the related features, Pwyso stores these items only inside the lead phone's app storage:
- the animal tag or name you enter, species choice, and measurement time;
- accepted weight ranges, reconstructed body dimensions, and quality indicators; and
- paired-camera baseline and known-object calibration corrections.
You can delete an individual accepted record in Growth. Clearing Pwyso's app storage or uninstalling the app removes all local records and calibration data.
6) Data collection and sharing
We do not collect or share user data with companies or organizations. The direct paired-photo transfer is initiated by you, stays between your two chosen devices, and is end-to-end encrypted so it is unreadable to the developer or any intermediary. Pwyso contains no third-party service that receives app data.
7) Feedback email
The feedback action opens an installed email app with a draft addressed to us. Pwyso does not send the message itself. Nothing is shared unless you choose to send it, and the email provider you select handles the message under its own terms and privacy policy.
8) Security
Pairing uses a short-lived code and authenticated proof before a session is accepted. Session messages and images use authenticated encryption. Keep both phones on a network you trust and confirm that the device name shown during pairing is the phone you intend to use.
9) Measurement limits
Pwyso provides model-based estimates, not a certified scale reading. Camera placement, animal movement, breed, coat, lighting, occlusion, and calibration can change the result. Use the range as supporting evidence and use a suitable physical scale or qualified professional when an exact weight is required for treatment, dosing, sale, transport, or other consequential decisions.
10) Children's privacy
Pwyso is a livestock measurement utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else.
11) International transfers
Pwyso does not send app data to developer or cloud servers, so we do not perform international transfers of app data. A feedback email follows the practices of the email provider you choose.
12) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Pwyso changes. The current version will remain at privacy.saifullah.ai/pwyso.html, with its effective date updated above.
