1) Who we are
Nafi Tools is provided by Saifullah Ahad ("we", "us", "our"). Our website/portfolio is: https://saifullah.ai.
2) What this policy covers
Nafi Tools is an offline utility app. It bundles common phone-hardware tools (compass, level, flashlight, sound meter, timer, converter, GPS readout, sensor info, emergency card, and similar) in one app. This policy explains what data the app handles and what it does not.
3) Information we collect
Nafi Tools does not collect, store, or transmit personal data.
The app has no account system, no user profile, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no
third-party tracking. The app does not request the INTERNET permission, so it cannot
send data anywhere.
The app only reads hardware sensors and inputs locally on your device, while a matching tool is open:
- Camera: used only to turn on the flashlight/torch LED. The app does not take photos, record video, or read the camera image.
- Microphone: used only by the sound meter screen to estimate ambient loudness in real time. The audio is processed in memory and is not recorded, saved, or uploaded.
- Location (fine/coarse): used only when you open a location-based tool (GPS coordinates, Qibla bearing) and tap to fetch your current location. The coordinates are shown on screen and not stored or uploaded.
- Vibration: used only to vibrate the phone for timer/battery alerts. No data is collected.
Other values you type inside the app (converter inputs, emergency-card text, timer durations) stay in app state on your device. They are not synced or uploaded.
4) How we use information
Because Nafi Tools does not collect or transmit data, there is no "use of information" in the usual sense. Each tool reads its sensor or input only while that tool is on screen, and stops when you leave the screen.
5) Sharing and disclosure
We do not share personal information because we do not collect any.
Nafi Tools does not integrate any third-party SDKs (no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads, no auth providers, no cloud services). There are no service providers in the data path.
6) Data retention
We do not retain personal data because we do not collect any. Values you enter inside the app live only in the app's local state on your device and are cleared when the app is uninstalled or its data is cleared from Android Settings.
7) Your choices and controls
- Permissions: you can allow or deny camera, microphone, and location permissions in Android Settings > Apps > Nafi Tools > Permissions at any time.
- Reset: clearing the app's storage from Android Settings removes any locally-saved tool values.
- Uninstall: uninstalling the app removes all on-device data the app has access to.
8) Security
Because no data leaves the device, the main "security" of your information is Android's own process and storage isolation for the app. We use reasonable care in the app's code; no method of storage is 100% secure.
9) Children's privacy
Nafi Tools is a general utility app and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
10) International transfers
Nafi Tools does not transfer any data internationally because it does not transmit data.
11) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on our website at https://saifullah.ai and update the effective date above.
