Privacy Policy — Lakirawi
1) What Lakirawi does
Lakirawi helps invited households run a cooperative switching experiment and explain one shared electricity bill. It can work as a plan stored on one device, or use an optional anonymous relay so participating devices see the same revision. Lakirawi has no named user account, advertising, analytics, payment, or utility-account integration.
2) Data stored on your device
The app stores the plan you create: household labels and participant counts, appliance names and rated-power hints, calibration steps, meter-derived readings, calculated signatures, bill period and values, attribution results, residue, audit records, relay credentials, and app settings.
Optional App PIN settings are stored as a salted one-way hash. If biometric unlock is enabled, Android performs authentication; Lakirawi receives only the success or failure result and does not receive or store biometric data.
3) Camera handling
Camera access is requested only after you open Meter Observer and choose to allow it. The app analyzes brightness or motion in a bounded center guide while that screen is open. Frames stay in memory, are closed immediately after analysis, and are not photographed, recorded, saved, or uploaded.
4) Optional anonymous relay data
If the plan creator enables relay sync, Lakirawi sends the shared plan data listed in section 2 to api.lakirawi.saifullah.ai. This is necessary to give invited devices the same household rows, evidence, residue, arithmetic, and server revision.
- The relay creates a random plan code and access key; it does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, landlord, utility, or billing account.
- The raw access key remains on participating devices. The relay retains only its SHA-256 hash for authorization.
- Transport is encrypted with HTTPS. Anyone who receives both invite values can access that plan, so participants should share them only with their households.
- The service does not use the plan for advertising, analytics, profiling, or household ranking.
5) How data is used and shared
Plan data is used only to provide calibration, attribution, bill arithmetic, local security, and optional multi-device synchronization. When relay sync is enabled, shared records are visible to people who hold that plan's code and access key.
The relay runs on Cloudflare Workers and SQLite-backed Durable Objects. Cloudflare processes network and storage data as our infrastructure provider. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not sell plan data or disclose it to advertisers or data brokers.
6) Retention and deletion
- Local plan data remains until you choose Settings → Delete local household data, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app.
- Each anonymous relay plan is scheduled for automatic deletion 180 days after it is created.
- Deleting local data removes that device's copy and relay credentials. It does not erase copies already synchronized to other participating devices.
7) Feedback and reports
Send Feedback and Report actions open your chosen email app with a draft addressed to www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com. Lakirawi does not send the message itself. Your email provider handles only what you choose to send.
8) Children and shared-record safety
Lakirawi is not directed to children under 13. Shared records must never be used to exploit, threaten, groom, coerce, or endanger a child. Review the published Child Safety Standards. Every audit record includes a Report action, and the app has a dedicated Child Safety screen.
9) Security and limits
We use capability-based access, HTTPS, hashed relay keys, bounded payloads, automatic expiry, and optional local app locking. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Attribution is an estimate; the app keeps ambiguous and unattributed energy visible rather than treating it as certain household data.
10) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Lakirawi's features or legal duties change. The current version and effective date will remain published on this page.
