Delete inside the app
Open Kiyaye → circle map → Settings → Delete account, read the warning, and confirm Delete. This completes the account deletion on the server and clears the authorized local cache and queued claims from that device.
Request deletion without the app
Email from the address used for your Kiyaye account. Put “Kiyaye account deletion request” in the subject and include that account email in the message. We may reply only to verify that the request belongs to the account holder.
What is deleted or retained
- Deleted: account email, display name, password-verification data, sessions, notification tokens, and active circle memberships.
- Retained only for other members' shared-record continuity: earlier accepted claims under a non-identifying “Former member” label.
- If the account owns a circle, ownership transfers to another active member. If no successor exists, the circle and all of its server records are deleted.
- A circle owner can instead use Settings → Delete circle to permanently delete that circle's server records.
