1. Introduction
JsonTrail is a structured-data workbench for validating, formatting, minifying, inspecting, comparing, and saving pasted JSON on Android.
2. Data We Collect
JsonTrail does not require an account and does not collect JSON input, baseline text, saved snippets, location, contacts, photos, camera data, microphone data, files, advertising identifiers, analytics events, or payment information.
3. Local Storage
The app stores the current JSON input, baseline JSON, and saved snippets locally in app preferences so your workspace and snippet library can be restored. This data stays on the device unless you copy it elsewhere.
4. Network and Sharing
JsonTrail does not request the Android Internet permission and does not upload pasted JSON to a developer server. The privacy policy and developer profile buttons open external web pages in the browser.
5. Retention and Deletion
You can clear the current input and delete saved snippets inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes local app data according to Android system behavior.
6. Permissions
JsonTrail does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, SMS, call log, calendar, storage, notification, billing, ads, health, account, or Internet permissions.
7. Children's Privacy
JsonTrail does not provide public profiles, chat, feeds, social posting, or user-generated public content. The app is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children.
