1. About Izdiham
Izdiham is provided by Saifullah Ahad. It uses a phone's accelerometer, gyroscope, rotation vector, and nearby Bluetooth Low Energy signals to describe changes in the phone holder's movement in a dense crowd. It is not a positioning, family-location, or emergency-service app.
2. Data we collect
Raw motion-sensor readings are processed on the device and are not uploaded. Nearby Bluetooth advertisements contain a random event identifier, movement severity, corroboration count, hop count, flow bearing, age, and integrity code. They contain no account, name, contact detail, location, or stable device identifier.
The following information leaves the device only when the related optional feature is used:
- Anonymous event count: if you opt in, the app sends one integer representing locally counted turbulent windows. It sends no time, place, route, sensor sample, account, or device identifier.
- Feedback: if you choose Send Feedback, the app sends your message, an optional reply email, and a technical footer containing the app version, Android version, device manufacturer, and model.
The app also downloads signed model and threshold configuration. That download does not include sensor readings or a user profile.
3. How we use data
Motion readings and nearby BLE signals support on-device movement classification, local guidance, corroboration, and connectionless rebroadcasting. The optional aggregate count helps assess how often the turbulent state is observed. Feedback is used only to answer support requests and improve the app. Signed configuration is used to update thresholds without making the safety function depend on a server.
4. Data sharing
Izdiham has no advertising, analytics, account, or tracking SDK. We do not sell personal information. Optional anonymous counts and configuration requests are handled by Cloudflare infrastructure for the Izdiham Worker. Optional feedback is relayed by Web3Forms to the developer's email. These providers process network requests on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms; normal network metadata such as an IP address may be visible to them during transmission.
5. Retention and deletion
Raw sensor windows are transient and are not retained as a movement history. App preferences and any pending anonymous count remain only in local app storage until submitted, cleared in Android settings, or removed by uninstalling the app. The Worker stores only a combined count that cannot be linked back to a person or device; individual deletion is therefore not possible. Feedback emails are retained only as needed to handle the request. To request deletion of identifiable feedback, email www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com with enough detail to locate it.
6. Send Feedback
Sending feedback is optional. The app shows the fields before transmission. Do not include sensitive personal information. You may omit your email; without it, we cannot reply or reliably identify the message for a later deletion request.
7. Children's privacy
Izdiham is a general utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent identifiable feedback may contact us for deletion.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app's data practices change. The current version will remain at privacy.saifullah.ai/izdiham.html, with its effective date updated.
