Privacy Policy - ExitWeave

ExitWeave works fully offline. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. Home plans, household roles, drills, and corrective actions stay in app-private storage unless you deliberately save a PDF or JSON file through Android's system file picker.

1) Who we are and what the app does

ExitWeave is a household evacuation-planning and drill-record utility provided by Saifullah Ahad. It helps a household map routes, assign support roles, practise drills, and record follow-up actions. Website: saifullah.ai. Privacy contact: www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com.

2) Data stored on your device

The app stores only information you choose to enter: a home name and number of levels; floor-plan point names, positions, notes, and connections; blocked-route reasons; names or familiar labels for people and pets; starting rooms, practical support needs, primary and backup helper assignments; drill scenarios, times, roll-call results, and notes; and corrective actions. These records are stored in an app-private Room database on your Android device. The developer does not receive them.

3) Permissions and connectivity

ExitWeave requests no runtime permissions. It does not request INTERNET, network-state, location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone, SMS, calendar, broad storage, advertising ID, or notification permission. The app has no account, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, social feature, or developer server.

4) PDF plans and JSON backups

When you create a printable plan or JSON backup, Android's system document picker asks where to save it. ExitWeave writes only to the destination you choose and does not upload or automatically share the file. A PDF may contain the home name, mapped routes, household roles, corrective actions, and recent drill information. A JSON backup contains the complete local plan needed for restoration. After export, you control the file and any later sharing through apps or services you choose.

When you choose to restore a backup, Android's system picker gives ExitWeave access only to the file you select. The app validates that local file and asks for confirmation before replacing the current plan.

5) Data sharing and external apps

We do not receive or share your plan because ExitWeave has no network permission. Data leaves the app only through a user-directed export. Links to the developer website, Google Play, GitHub, phone dialler, and email open an external app only after you tap them; those apps operate under their own privacy policies.

6) Feedback

The feedback action uses Android's ACTION_SENDTO with a mailto: link. ExitWeave does not send email itself. If you decide to send a message to www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com, your email provider processes it and Saifullah Ahad receives the information you include so he can respond.

7) Retention, backup, and deletion

Local records remain until you delete them in ExitWeave, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for ExitWeave app data. PDFs and JSON backups saved outside the app remain in the location you chose until you delete them separately. The developer cannot retrieve or remotely delete your local records because there is no account or server.

8) Security and sensitive household details

Android app-private storage limits access by other apps, but no device can be guaranteed secure. Use a screen lock and keep Android updated, especially if a plan identifies household members, support needs, or details about a home. Share exported files only with people and services you trust.

9) Safety boundary

ExitWeave is a preparation and practice tool. It cannot sense smoke or hazards, assess structural conditions, contact emergency services, certify a route, or guarantee safe evacuation. Follow local authorities, building management, fire services, emergency responders, and qualified accessibility or safety professionals.

10) Children's privacy

ExitWeave is a household planning utility for use by responsible adults and is not directed to children. It has no account, advertising, social, or user-generated-content service, and the developer does not knowingly collect information from children.

11) International transfers

ExitWeave does not transfer plan data internationally because it has no server connection and does not transmit local records.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when ExitWeave's behavior changes. The current version will remain available at privacy.saifullah.ai/exitweave.html, with the effective date updated above.
