Welcome to BruneiSafe. This app is designed to help you check potential scams and find official links in Brunei. BruneiSafe is built with an "offline-first" privacy philosophy. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding your data.

2. Data We Collect

BruneiSafe collects absolutely NO personal data.

• Local Storage: All your saved notes, scam check histories, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.
• Biometric Data: If you enable App Lock, your device's fingerprint or face recognition is processed entirely on your device. BruneiSafe only receives a success/fail signal from the Android system and never accesses your actual biometric data.

3. How We Use Data

Since we do not collect any data, there is no data to use. The app operates entirely locally on your device. Network access is only used if you choose to follow official links to external websites, at which point their respective privacy policies apply.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties. BruneiSafe does not integrate with any analytics or tracking SDKs.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as you keep the app installed. You can delete all your data instantly by navigating to the "Settings" tab in the app and selecting "Reset all data," or simply by uninstalling the app.

6. Children's Policy

BruneiSafe does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13, as it does not collect personal information from anyone.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
