This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use Balagh (the "App"), a community reporting app.

3) Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide the app features:

Location Data: Balagh requests access to your approximate or precise location to pinpoint issues you report on the community map. Location is only captured when you explicitly submit a report or view the map.
Photos and Camera: To let you attach photos to community reports, Balagh requests access to your camera and photo library.
User-Generated Content: The descriptions, text, and details you submit in a report are stored securely in our database.
Device & Technical Data: e.g., device model, OS version, app version, language, crash logs.

4) How we use information

To power the interactive community map and issue-reporting system.
To sync reports and notifications in real-time.
To maintain safety, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
To understand usage trends and improve app stability.

5) Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the app securely:

Firebase Auth, Firestore, Storage & Messaging (Google): Used to securely authenticate users, store community reports, host uploaded images, and send push notifications.
Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics (Google): Used to monitor app stability and collect anonymous crash reports.

6) Optional in-app feedback messages

Balagh includes a Send Feedback option on the "About" screen. This feature is fully user-initiated — no message is ever sent unless you tap Send.

If you submit feedback:

Your message text is delivered to the developer's email inbox.
Your email address is optional. If you provide it, it is used solely so the developer can reply. If you leave it blank, the message is delivered anonymously and the developer cannot reply.
A short technical footer is auto-attached to help reproduce bugs: app name, app version, Android version, device manufacturer, and device model. No identifiers, contacts, account data, or content from inside the app are included.

The message is sent to a third-party email-relay service, Web3Forms (privacy policy: https://web3forms.com/privacy), which delivers it to www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com. Web3Forms processes the submission only to relay it; we do not use it for any other purpose. Transmission is encrypted (HTTPS).

7) Data retention and deletion

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the app features. You may request deletion of your data and account by contacting us at the email below or via the in-app support channels.

8) Your choices and controls

Permissions: you can allow or deny permissions (camera, location, etc.) in Android settings at any time.
Deletion: you can request deletion of your account/data by contacting us.

9) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS protocols.

10) Children’s privacy

Balagh is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on our website at https://saifullah.ai and update the effective date above.
