Wasiyya Privacy Policy

Who We Are

Wasiyya is an Android app built by Saifullah. The app shows short Prophetic counsel in Arabic, Bangla, and English, with local bookmarking, settings, daily reminders, shareable images, and an optional feedback form.

Data We Collect

Wasiyya does not collect personal data during normal app use.

If you choose to use the Send Feedback form, Wasiyya sends the following information:

• The feedback message you type.
• Your email address, only if you choose to provide it for a reply.
• Basic technical details included with the message: app name, app version, Android version, SDK version, device manufacturer, and device model.

Wasiyya does not collect names, phone numbers, location, contacts, advertising IDs, usage analytics, crash analytics, or tracking identifiers.

Data Stored on Your Device

Wasiyya may store the following information locally on your device only:

• Bookmarked Wasiyyas.
• App settings, such as daily reminder time and language preference.
• Temporary image files created when you choose to share a Wasiyya card.

This local app information stays on your device. We do not receive your bookmarks, reminder settings, language setting, or generated share images.

Internet and Third Parties

Wasiyya is offline-first for reading content, bookmarks, settings, reminders, and share-card creation.

The app requests the Android Internet permission only for user-initiated actions such as sending feedback or opening external links from the About screen.

The Send Feedback form is submitted through Web3Forms. Web3Forms processes the feedback message so it can be delivered to the developer. Do not include sensitive personal information in feedback messages.

Wasiyya does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, login SDKs, or social media SDKs.

How We Use Feedback

Feedback is used only to understand bugs, feature ideas, and user comments about Wasiyya. If you provide an email address, it may be used to reply to you. Feedback is not sold and is not used for advertising or tracking.

Permissions

Wasiyya may ask for notification permission on supported Android versions. This permission is used only to show one daily Wasiyya reminder if you turn reminders on.

The app may also use Android alarm and boot-completed permissions so your daily reminder can be scheduled again after your device restarts. These permissions are not used to collect or transmit data.

Wasiyya may check whether certain other Saifullah apps are installed so the About screen can open them if you tap those links. This check stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Sharing a Wasiyya Card

If you tap Share, Wasiyya creates a PNG image in the app cache and opens Android's normal share sheet. You choose where to send that image. Any app or service you choose in the share sheet is governed by its own privacy policy.

External Links

The About screen may open external websites such as the developer website, GitHub, or Google Play in your browser or another app. Those external services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Wasiyya does not knowingly collect data from children or adults. Because the app does not collect personal data, there is no personal data from children for us to store, use, or share.

Data Deletion

You can delete locally stored Wasiyya data by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Since Wasiyya has no account system, there is no server-side account or profile to delete. For feedback messages you previously sent, contact us using the email address below.

Changes to This Policy

If Wasiyya's privacy practices change, this policy will be updated. The effective date at the top of the page will show when the latest version took effect.
