Privacy Policy - WashWeave

WashWeave works fully offline. Garment-care facts, optional label-photo references, stain notes, and load history remain on your Android device. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share this information.

1) Who we are and what the app does

WashWeave is an offline laundry decision and garment-care record utility provided by Saifullah Ahad. Website: saifullah.ai. Privacy contact: www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com.

2) Information stored on your device

The app stores only records you choose to create: garment names and care limits, color and lint notes, optional label-photo references, stain preparation notes, selected load contents, calculated compatibility results, and load status or history. These records are kept in WashWeave's private local database. The developer cannot access them.

3) Optional label photos

When you choose a label photo, WashWeave opens Android's system photo picker. The picker grants the app access only to the item you selected; WashWeave does not request broad photo-library, storage, or camera permission. The selected image reference is used only to display that care-label photo with the garment record and is not uploaded.

The photo picker and any storage provider you choose are Android or third-party components and operate under their own privacy practices.

4) Compatibility and stain guidance

Load compatibility, suggested splits, conservative shared settings, and stain preparation steps are calculated inside the app from the facts you enter. No garment, stain, photo, or result is sent to a developer or third-party server. Manufacturer care instructions always take priority over the app's organizational guidance.

5) Permissions and connectivity

WashWeave requests no runtime permission. In particular, it does not request INTERNET, network state, camera, broad photos or storage, location, contacts, microphone, phone, SMS, calendar, notifications, or advertising ID. It includes no account, analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, cloud sync, in-app purchase, subscription, or social-content service.

6) Data sharing and sale

We do not receive, sell, rent, or share your WashWeave records because the app does not transmit them. A user-directed action can open another app, such as composing a feedback email. External apps and services you choose to use follow their own privacy policies.

7) Retention and deletion

Garment, stain, and load records remain on the device until you delete the relevant garment, clear WashWeave's app storage, or uninstall the app. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for the app's private records. The developer cannot view or remotely delete local records.

8) Contact and feedback

The in-app feedback action opens your chosen email app through a mailto: link with an address and subject filled in. WashWeave does not send the email. If you decide to send a message, your email provider processes it and Saifullah Ahad receives your message and email address so he can reply.

9) Security

Android app-private storage restricts other apps' access to WashWeave's database, but no device can be guaranteed completely secure. Use a device lock and keep Android updated when your records are sensitive.

10) Children's privacy

WashWeave is a general household utility intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal data from children or adults and contains no account, advertising, public profile, chat, or user-generated-content feature.

11) International data transfers

WashWeave does not transfer app data internationally because it has no network connection and no developer backend.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if WashWeave's behavior changes. The current version will remain available at privacy.saifullah.ai/WashWeave.html, with the effective date updated above.
