2) What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use UpliftOne (the "App").
3) Information we collect
UpliftOne is designed to work fully offline. We collect minimal information:
- No personal data: The app does not require an account, login, or any personal information to use.
- No analytics or tracking: We do not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or tracking tools.
- Local preferences only: Your settings (country, language, font size, accessibility options) are stored locally on your device and never transmitted.
- Optional network requests: If you choose to use the online Pack Store feature, the app connects to our server to fetch a catalog of available data packs. These requests contain no personal identifiers.
4) How we use information
- Your local preferences are used solely to personalize your in-app experience (language, font size, voice settings).
- If you use the Pack Store, catalog requests are used only to show you available data packs. No user data is collected or stored on the server.
5) Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell, share, or transmit any personal information because we do not collect any.
The optional Pack Store feature connects to Supabase (our hosting provider) to download data packs. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
6) Data retention
All app data (benefit programs, skill courses, bookmarks, lesson progress, preferences) is stored locally on your device using an SQLite database. We do not retain any data on external servers. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
7) Your choices and controls
- Offline mode: The app works entirely offline. You never need to connect to the internet.
- Pack Store: The online Pack Store is optional. You can import data packs manually via ZIP files without any network connection.
- Data deletion: Uninstalling the app or clearing app data removes everything. No server-side data exists to delete.
- Preferences: All settings can be changed or reset from within the app's Settings screen.
8) Permissions
UpliftOne requests the following Android permissions:
- INTERNET: Used only for the optional Pack Store feature (downloading data packs from our server). Not required for core app functionality.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to check if an internet connection is available before attempting Pack Store requests.
The app does not request access to your camera, location, contacts, microphone, storage, or any other sensitive permissions.
9) Third-party services
The app does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social media SDKs. The only external service used is Supabase for the optional Pack Store feature (hosting the pack catalog and ZIP files).
10) Children's privacy
UpliftOne does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is suitable for all ages and contains no harmful, inappropriate, or age-restricted content.
11) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at privacy.saifullah.ai/UpliftOne and update the effective date above.
