Privacy Policy - Tadwin

1) Introduction

Tadwin is a voice recording and transcription app provided by Saifullah Ahad. The app records audio chosen by the user, stores recordings locally, and can transcribe recordings on the device after a speech model is downloaded.

2) Data We Collect

Tadwin does not upload your audio recordings or transcripts to the developer. Recordings, transcripts, titles, language choices, and model choices are stored in the app's private storage on your device.

The app may process these data types:

• Audio recordings: recorded only when you tap Record and grant microphone permission. Stored locally on your device.
• Transcripts: generated on your device from your recordings. Stored locally on your device.
• Recording metadata: title, duration, language, selected model, timestamp, and transcript status. Stored locally on your device.
• Downloaded speech model files: downloaded from the model host and stored locally so transcription can run on your device.
• Optional feedback: if you use Send Feedback, Tadwin sends your message, optional email address, app version, Android version, device manufacturer, and device model to the developer through Web3Forms.

3) How We Use Data

• Record and save voice notes you create.
• Run on-device transcription for saved recordings.
• Let you search, rename, delete, play, and share recordings or transcripts.
• Download speech model files when you choose to download a model.
• Respond to optional feedback or support messages you submit.

4) Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

Tadwin shares data only in these cases:

• Web3Forms: if you submit feedback, your message and optional email are sent through Web3Forms to deliver the message to www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com.
• Model hosting: when you download a speech model, the app requests the selected model file from the hosting endpoint. Your recordings and transcripts are not uploaded for this download.
• Android share sheet: if you choose to share a transcript or audio file, Android lets you pick the destination app. That destination app's privacy policy applies after sharing.
• Legal requirements: information may be disclosed if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

5) Data Retention and Deletion

Recordings, transcripts, and downloaded models remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. You can delete recordings and downloaded models inside Tadwin.

Feedback emails are kept only as long as needed for support and record keeping. You can request deletion of feedback messages by emailing www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com.

6) Send Feedback

Tadwin includes an optional Send Feedback feature on the About screen. No feedback is sent unless you tap Send. Your email address is optional and is used only so the developer can reply.

Feedback is sent over HTTPS to Web3Forms, which relays it to the developer's email inbox. Web3Forms' privacy policy is available at https://web3forms.com/privacy.

7) Children's Policy

Tadwin is not directed to children under 13 or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
