This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use SirahAtlas (the "App").
3) Information we collect
SirahAtlas does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
The app is fully offline. It does not request internet permission and does not communicate with any server or third-party service. All data generated by your use of the app — including lesson completion status, bookmarked lessons, quiz scores, last-opened lesson, and language preference — is stored locally on your device using Jetpack DataStore Preferences.
The app does not use:
- Analytics or tracking SDKs
- Crash reporting services
- Advertising networks or ad SDKs
- Authentication or sign-in services
- Cloud storage or sync services
- Push notification services
- Any form of device identifier collection
4) How we use information
Since no data leaves your device, we do not use any information for analytics, advertising, profiling, or any other purpose. All data stays on your device and is used only to provide the app's core features:
- Tracking which lessons you have completed so you can see your progress
- Remembering bookmarked lessons for quick access
- Saving your best quiz scores
- Remembering the last lesson you opened so you can continue where you left off
- Remembering your selected language preference
5) Sharing and disclosure
We do not share any information with any third party.
The app does not transmit data to any server, service provider, analytics platform, advertising network, or any other external entity. There are no third-party SDKs embedded in the app.
The only external network activity the app performs is opening web links in your browser when you tap developer contact links (Google Play Store page, privacy policy website, GitHub, personal website). These links open using Android's standard browser intent and do not involve the app collecting or transmitting any data.
6) Data retention
All data is stored locally on your device. It persists as long as the app is installed. If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data (progress, bookmarks, quiz scores, preferences) is removed automatically.
7) Your choices and controls
- Full control: All your data lives on your device. You can clear the app's data or uninstall it at any time from Android Settings.
- Language: You can switch the app language (English, Bengali, Indonesian) at any time from within the app.
- Permissions: The app does not request any Android permissions.
- Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. No data exists on any server to delete.
8) Security
Because all data remains on your device and is never transmitted, there is no risk of data interception during network transmission. The app uses Android's built-in DataStore Preferences API for local data storage, which is sandboxed to the app and not accessible by other apps on the device.
9) Children's privacy
SirahAtlas is educational religious content about the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The app is suitable for all ages, including children. We do not collect any personal information from users of any age, and the app contains no social features, communication tools, or user-generated content.
10) International transfers
Since the app does not transmit any data to any server, there are no international data transfers of any kind.
11) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on our website at https://privacy.saifullah.ai/SirahAtlas and update the effective date above.
