Riayah Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Riayah is an Android care log app for family caregivers. It helps you keep care profiles, daily care logs, routines, handover notes, and backups in one place.

Core care data stays on your device unless you choose to export a backup, share handover text, or send feedback.

2. Data You Add Locally

Riayah stores the following data locally on your device:

• Care recipient profile details and important notes.
• Emergency contact names, phone numbers, and relationship notes.
• Daily care logs, routines, routine completions, and handover notes.
• Settings such as language, theme, backup time, and app lock choices.
• Local backup files when you choose to export them.

These records are not uploaded by the core app features.

3. Feedback Data

If you use Send Feedback, Riayah sends your message through Web3Forms so the developer can receive it.

The feedback message may include:

• The message you type.
• Your email address, only if you type it.
• Basic app and device context, such as app version and Android version, to help understand the report.

Do not include sensitive care details in feedback unless you want the developer to receive them.

4. App Lock And Biometrics

Riayah can protect the app with an optional Riayah PIN and Android biometric prompt.

• The Riayah PIN is stored locally as a salted hash.
• The original PIN is not stored.
• Biometric unlock uses Android system services. Riayah does not receive or store fingerprint or face data.
• Your device PIN or pattern is not used to unlock Riayah.

5. How Data Is Used

Local care data is used to show your dashboard, history, routines, profile, handover text, backups, and app settings.

Feedback data is used to reply to you if you provided an email address, fix bugs, and improve the app.

6. Sharing

Riayah does not upload local care records as part of its core app features.

Data may leave the app only when you choose one of these actions:

• Export a local backup file.
• Share handover text through another app.
• Send feedback through Web3Forms.

Riayah does not use an analytics SDK or account login in this version.

7. Retention And Deletion

Local data remains on your device until you reset app data, delete exported backup files, or uninstall the app.

You can remove local app data from Riayah Settings by using Reset app data.

8. Children

Riayah is not designed specifically for children.

9. Medical Boundary

Riayah is a care notes and routine logging app. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, dosage guidance, emergency detection, or professional-care replacement.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated when Riayah changes how it handles data. The effective date will be updated when changes are made.
