Riayah is an offline-first, private care notebook designed for family caregivers. The App allows you to log daily care activities, track routines, and prepare handover notes. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we handle data within the App.

2. Data We Collect

The App is designed to minimize data collection. Core care data is entirely local.

• Local Data: All care recipient profiles, daily logs, routines, handover notes, local backups, and app settings are stored locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers or collected by the Developer.
• Biometric Data: The App uses standard Android biometric authentication APIs for the optional App Lock feature. It does not collect, read, or transmit your actual biometric data (fingerprint or face data).
• Feedback Information: If you use the "Send Feedback" feature inside the App, we collect the feedback message you provide and an optional email address. This is strictly user-initiated.

3. How We Use Data

• Local Data: Your local care logs and profiles are used exclusively to provide the App's core functionality on your device.
• Feedback Information: If you send us feedback, we use the message and provided email address solely to read your feedback, reply to you, and improve the App.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your private data to outside parties. However, if you choose to use the "Send Feedback" feature, your feedback message and optional email address are transmitted securely via Web3Forms, which acts as a relay service to deliver the message to the Developer's inbox.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

• Local App Data: You have full control over your local data. You can delete it at any time by navigating to Settings > Reset app data, or by uninstalling the App from your device.
• Feedback Data: If you have sent us an email or feedback and wish for it to be deleted from our inbox, you may request deletion by contacting us at the email below.

6. Send Feedback

The App includes a "Send Feedback" feature. This feature requires internet access (INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions) to relay your message to the Developer via Web3Forms.

7. Children's Privacy

Riayah is intended for use by adults (e.g., family caregivers). It is not designed to be used by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this page.
