Rakb Privacy Policy

Rakb is a real-time ride and parcel dispatch app. You can request a ride or send a parcel, get a fare and ETA estimate, get matched to a driver, and track the trip live on a map. The app contains no ads, no in-app purchases, and no paid features. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.

Data We Collect

Rakb collects only the data needed to operate its ride and delivery features:

• Name and phone number: provided by you when you create an account, used to sign you in, verify your number, and identify your trips. For a parcel, you also provide the recipient's name and phone number so the delivery can be completed.
• Pickup and drop-off locations: the precise coordinates you select or enter when requesting a ride or parcel, used to calculate fare and ETA estimates, match a driver, and show your trip on the map. Because these points are entered by you, Rakb requests no device-location permission and never reads your device's GPS — but the coordinates you provide are precise-location data, so we disclose them as collected.
• Device / installation identifier: when you verify your phone number, Google Firebase generates an installation identifier for your app instance, used to deliver and secure the SMS verification and prevent abuse.
• Trip records: your past ride and parcel requests and their status, stored so you can see your history.

Phone Verification & Password Reset

To confirm you control your phone number — and to let you reset a forgotten password — Rakb sends a one-time code by SMS using Google Firebase Authentication. Firebase processes your phone number and the installation identifier described above on our behalf to deliver and secure this code. Rakb does not store your password in readable form; it is kept only as a one-way hash.

How We Use Data

• To create and sign in to your account, and to verify your phone number by SMS.
• To produce fare and ETA estimates and match you to an available driver.
• To show live trip tracking and keep your ride and parcel history.
• To let you reset your password after verifying your phone number.

Your data is stored on our own server (PostgreSQL) and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS and secure WebSocket). We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing. The services listed below act as our processors to provide specific features on our behalf.

Third-Party Services

Rakb uses the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase Authentication — verifies that you control your phone number by sending a one-time SMS code (for sign-in security and password reset). It processes your phone number and a device/installation identifier on our behalf. See Firebase privacy and Google's privacy policy.
• Google Maps — to display the map and your trip route.
• Web3Forms — used only when you send optional feedback, to relay your message to the developer (see below).

Rakb does not use any advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs.

Permissions

• Internet & network state: required to request rides and deliveries, verify your phone, receive estimates, and stream live trip updates.

Rakb does not request location, storage, contacts, or any sensitive device permission.

Optional Feedback

The "About" screen includes an optional Send Feedback form. No message is sent unless you tap Send. If you submit feedback, your message — plus a short technical footer (app version, Android version, device model) — is delivered to the developer through the Web3Forms relay (privacy policy) to www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com. Providing your email is optional and used only so the developer can reply.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data only while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — see the step-by-step instructions at privacy.saifullah.ai/rakb-delete or contact us at the email below. We complete deletion within 7 days, and nothing about your account is retained afterward.

Children's Privacy

Rakb is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
