                Qur'an Quest does not collect, store, or share any personal data.

This privacy policy explains how Qur'an Quest ("the App") handles user information. The App is designed with privacy as a core principle.

Information We Do Not Receive

The developer does not receive the following information automatically from the App:

Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
Location data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or tracking data
Photos, contacts, or any files from your device
Browsing history or search queries

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device using SharedPreferences and a local Room database:

Language preference – Your selected display language
Optional learner profiles – Names you choose for profiles on this device
Learning data – Answers, review dates, session progress, bookmarks and local statistics

The App does not transmit this learning data to the developer. Android may back it up or transfer it according to your device backup settings. Uninstalling removes the local copy; you manage any Android backup through your device or account settings.

Internet Access

The App does not require an internet connection to function. All quiz content, including 537 source-traced questions across 50 categories, is bundled within the App and available completely offline.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate analytics, advertising or account services. The report button can open the email app selected by you; the App does not send a report itself.

Children's Privacy

The App is safe for users of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal data, the App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.

Permissions

The App requests only vibration feedback. It does not access your camera, microphone, storage, contacts, location or other sensitive device features.

Data Retention — How Long Data Is Kept

Everything Qur'an Quest records stays on your device. We do not store or retain your data on any server, so there is nothing for us to keep, share or delete. On the device your quiz answers, scores, and preferences stay until you delete them in the app, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall Qur'an Quest — Android removes the app’s private data when it is uninstalled. We keep no backups of your content, no analytics profiles and no advertising identifiers.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with the revised date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
