This Privacy Policy describes how Prophet Quest (the "App") handles information when you use it. The short answer: the App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

3) Information we collect

Prophet Quest collects no personal information.

The App has been verified to contain:

No analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no similar tools)
No crash reporting SDKs (no Crashlytics, no Sentry, no similar tools)
No advertising SDKs or ad networks
No authentication or account system
No network calls of any kind — the App works fully offline
No device permissions requested (no camera, microphone, location, storage, contacts, etc.)

All app content (Seerah chapters, quiz questions, timeline events, map pins) is bundled locally inside the App. No internet connection is required or used after installation.

4) Data stored on your device

The App saves the following data only on your device, using Android's local DataStore (key-value storage):

Reading progress: which chapters you have completed, your last read position
Bookmarks: chapter IDs you have bookmarked
Quiz history: scores, wrong question IDs, daily quiz count
MCQ quiz progress: best scores per category, daily challenge completion date
Preferences: dark/light mode, font size, quiz language (English/Bengali)
Disclaimer accepted flag

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, not shared with any third party, and not accessible by us.

5) How we use information

We do not collect information, so we do not use it. The locally stored preferences and progress data (listed in Section 4) are used solely by the App on your device to provide core features — resuming reading, showing quiz history, and remembering your settings.

6) Sharing and disclosure

We do not collect personal data, and therefore we do not sell, share, or disclose any personal data to any third party.

There are no third-party service providers, analytics vendors, or ad networks integrated into this App.

7) Data retention

All data (reading progress, quiz scores, preferences) is stored only on your device and is retained until you choose to reset it. You can delete all locally stored data at any time via Settings → Reset Progress inside the App. Uninstalling the App also removes all locally stored data.

8) Your choices and controls

Reset all data: Settings → Reset Progress — permanently deletes all locally stored data.
Uninstall: removes the App and all associated local data from your device.
No account deletion required: there is no account or server-side data to delete.

9) Security

Because the App collects no data and makes no network requests, there is no transmission risk. All locally stored data (progress, preferences) is stored in Android's standard local storage, which is private to the App and not accessible by other apps.

10) Children's privacy

Prophet Quest is not specifically directed to children under 13, but it contains no harmful content and collects no data from any user regardless of age. Parents can use the App with children without privacy concerns.

11) Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated version at https://privacy.saifullah.ai/ProphetQuest and update the effective date above.
