Privacy Policy — Nakeri

1) Who we are

2) What Nakeri does

Nakeri helps you examine visible stitch-test evidence from paired top and underside photographs, compare one controlled experiment, and save machine/material setup notes. It is not a machine diagnosis, seam-strength certification, or safety instrument.

3) Data collection and transmission

Nakeri does not request Android network, camera, photo-library, location, microphone, contacts, or storage permissions. It opens the device's system camera or system Photo Picker when you choose one of those actions. Those system components provide only the image you capture or select.

4) Photograph processing

Selected and captured images are decoded and analysed on your device. Nakeri calculates visible quality, path, pitch, gap, crossover, loop/blob, and uncertainty indicators. It does not send an image or result to us.

A camera image may remain temporarily in Nakeri's private cache until Android clears it, you use “Delete all local data,” you clear app storage, or you uninstall. A photograph selected from your library remains in its original location and is not copied into Nakeri's database.

5) Local records

Accepted sessions and recipes are stored in Nakeri's private app database. Records may contain machine and material names, needle/thread notes, numeric settings, derived measurements, confidence, and the suggested bounded action. Nakeri disables automatic Android cloud backup.

6) Exports, backup, and restore

PDF evidence sheets and checksum-protected JSON backups are created only when you ask. Android's share sheet lets you choose another app or destination; that destination's privacy practices then apply. Backups contain setup and measurement text, not original photographs. Restore validates Nakeri's format and checksum before importing records.

7) Your controls and retention

• Delete an individual session or recipe inside the local archive.
• Use Delete all local data to remove Nakeri's database, preferences, cached camera captures, and temporary exports.
• Clear app storage or uninstall Nakeri to remove its private local data.
• Delete any file you deliberately exported from the destination where you saved it.

8) External actions

The About screen can open public web, Google Play, GitHub, telephone, or email links. Nakeri itself does not receive data from those services. Feedback uses your chosen email app through a mailto: link; nothing is sent until you choose to send it.

9) Children's privacy

Nakeri is a general sewing utility and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

10) International transfers and security

We do not transfer app data internationally because Nakeri has no data service. Local records are protected by Android's app sandbox. No device storage can be guaranteed immune from loss; create a backup if you need to preserve setup notes.

11) Policy changes

We may update this policy when Nakeri changes. The current version and effective date will remain at privacy.saifullah.ai/Nakeri.html.
