Privacy Policy - Kanz Box
1) Who we are
Kanz Box is provided by Saifullah Ahad ("we", "us", "our"). Our website/portfolio is: https://saifullah.ai.
2) What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains what information Kanz Box (the "App") handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. Kanz Box is a personal savings tracker that helps you log cash you keep in a real money box, with a PIN-gated reveal of the total.
3) Information we collect
By default, Kanz Box does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Your savings entries, chosen currency, goal amount, and reveal-PIN material are stored only on your device in an encrypted local vault. They are never sent off the device.
The single exception is the optional in-app feedback flow (Section 6 below), which is triggered only when you tap the Send Feedback button and submit a message.
4) Permissions we request
- INTERNET - the only Android permission declared. It is used solely to deliver an in-app feedback message when you tap Send. No other network calls are made.
Kanz Box does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, SMS, call log, accessibility, or any other sensitive Android permission.
5) How we use information
- Provide and improve the savings-tracking experience on your device.
- Deliver and respond to feedback messages you choose to send.
- Diagnose and fix bugs reported through the optional feedback footer.
6) Optional in-app feedback messages
The About Developer screen includes a Send Feedback option. This feature is fully user-initiated - no message is ever sent unless you tap Send.
If you submit feedback:
- Your message text is delivered to the developer's email inbox.
- Your email address is optional. If you provide it, it is used solely so the developer can reply. If you leave it blank, the message is delivered anonymously and the developer cannot reply.
- A short technical footer is auto-attached to help reproduce bugs: app name, app version, Android version, device manufacturer, and device model. No identifiers, contacts, account data, or savings content from inside the app are included.
The message is sent to a third-party email-relay service, Web3Forms (privacy policy: https://web3forms.com/privacy), which delivers it to www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com. Web3Forms processes the submission only to relay it; we do not use it for any other purpose. Transmission is encrypted (HTTPS).
7) Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information.
The only third party that ever receives any data from the App is Web3Forms, and only when you voluntarily submit a feedback message (Section 6).
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
8) Third-party SDKs
Kanz Box does not include any analytics SDK (such as Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics),
crash reporting SDK (such as Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry), advertising SDK, or attribution SDK. The only
external network endpoint reached from the app is api.web3forms.com, and only on a user-initiated
feedback submission.
9) On-device security
- Savings entries are stored in an encrypted local vault using an Android Keystore-backed AES-GCM 256-bit key generated on first launch.
- Your reveal PIN is stored only as a PBKDF2 hash with a random salt, never in plain text.
- Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for the app's data so that the encrypted vault is never copied to another device where it cannot be decrypted.
- The balance auto-hides itself after one minute of inactivity, even if the app stays open.
10) Data retention
Savings data is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can clear it by deleting individual deposits inside the app or by uninstalling the app, which removes all on-device data including the encrypted vault.
Feedback messages received via Web3Forms are kept in the developer's email inbox for support and bug-fixing purposes. You can request deletion of any feedback message you have sent by emailing www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com with the approximate date.
11) Your choices and controls
- Permissions: the app only requests INTERNET; you can revoke it in Android Settings if you do not want to use the feedback feature.
- Data deletion: uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data, or contact us at www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com to request deletion of any feedback message you have sent.
- Reveal PIN reset: reinstalling the app clears the vault and lets you set a new PIN.
12) Children's privacy
Kanz Box is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13) International transfers
Feedback messages submitted through Web3Forms may be processed on servers located outside your country. Transmission is encrypted (HTTPS) and the data sent is limited to what is described in Section 6.
14) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on our website at https://saifullah.ai and update the effective date above.
