Privacy Policy — Judhoor

1) Who we are

Judhoor is provided by Saifullah Ahad ("we", "us", "our"). Our website is: https://saifullah.ai.

2) What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information Judhoor (the "App") handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. Judhoor is an offline-first Quranic Arabic learning app: it teaches Quran vocabulary word by word, organised by Arabic roots, with spaced-repetition reviews, quizzes, a surah browser, pronunciation, statistics, and achievement badges.

3) Information we collect

Judhoor does not collect any personal information from you.

• The App stores your learning progress, settings, streaks, review schedules, quiz history, and badge unlocks locally on your device.
• The App does not transmit, upload, or share this data with us or with any third party.
• The App does not include analytics, crash reporting, advertising, attribution, or telemetry SDKs.
• The App does not require an account, sign-in, or any identifier of any kind.
• The App does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or files.

4) How information is used

Because Judhoor stores all data locally, the only "use" of your data is to power the App's features on your own device: showing you the next flashcard, scheduling your spaced-repetition reviews, charting your weekly activity, and so on. None of this data leaves your device.

5) Permissions

The App requests the following Android permission, and only for the stated purpose:

• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): used solely to deliver the optional daily study reminder if you enable it in Settings. The reminder is generated locally on your device. No content is sent over the network. You can decline the permission, or toggle the reminder off in Settings → Notifications, at any time.

The App declares a <queries> entry for the package ai.saifullah.ittisal. This is solely so the About-the-developer screen can detect whether the developer's other app (Ittisal) is installed and open it directly, rather than always sending you to the Play Store. No data is read from that other app.

6) Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, share, or disclose any user information, because no user information is collected. There are no third-party service providers, no advertisers, and no analytics partners.

7) Data retention and deletion

Your learning data remains on your device for as long as the App is installed. You can:

• Reset all progress at any time from Settings → Data Management → Reset All Progress.
• Export a local backup file from Settings → Data Management → Export Progress Backup, and restore it later on the same or a new device.
• Uninstall the App from Android Settings → Apps. Uninstalling removes all locally stored data.

8) Security

Because data is stored locally and never transmitted, there is no server, no database, and no network channel for an attacker to target. Standard Android sandboxing keeps Judhoor's data inaccessible to other apps on your device.

9) Children's privacy

Judhoor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App's spaced-repetition mechanics are designed for teen and adult learners; younger children should use the App with an adult.

10) International transfers

Judhoor does not transmit data, so no information crosses borders.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted at https://privacy.saifullah.ai/Judhoor, with the effective date above. Material changes will be summarised on this page.

12) Data attribution

Linguistic data inside the App is from the Quranic Arabic Corpus by Kais Dukes, used under the GNU General Public License. This attribution is informational and does not affect what data the App handles about you.
