Cadence collects minimal data to provide fitness tracking functionality:

  • Workout data (duration, intervals, heart rate, steps, calories, distance)
  • Personal fitness profile (weight, height, age, gender) for accurate calorie calculations
  • Location data (GPS) for distance tracking during outdoor workouts
  • Device synchronization data between your phone and watch

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for:

  • Providing workout tracking and interval training features
  • Calculating calories burned based on your fitness profile
  • Tracking distance during outdoor workouts using GPS
  • Synchronizing workout data between your phone and watch

Data Storage

All workout data, including GPS location data, is stored locally on your devices. We do not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers. Your workout history, fitness profile, and GPS data remain entirely on your phone and/or watch.

Data Retention

Workout data is stored on your device until you choose to delete it. You can delete individual workouts from within the app at any time, or remove all data by uninstalling the app.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or distribute your personal data to third parties. Your fitness data remains private and secure on your devices. The app does not contain any advertising or analytics SDKs.

Permissions

Cadence requires the following permissions:

  • Location (GPS): For tracking distance during outdoor workouts
  • Body Sensors: To access heart rate from your smartwatch
  • Activity Recognition: For step counting
  • Bluetooth: For synchronizing data between phone and watch
  • Notifications: For workout phase alerts and reminders

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your workout data through the app
  • Delete individual workouts from within the app
  • Export your workout history as CSV
  • Delete all data by uninstalling the app
