Brojilo Privacy Policy
1. What Brojilo does
Brojilo observes an electricity meter’s visible pulse light or rotating-disc mark, estimates power use, stores measurements you choose to save, and retrieves dated public tariff rules to help reconstruct a household electricity bill.
2. Data we collect
- Camera input: brightness is analyzed inside the guide box on your device. Live frames are not saved or uploaded.
- Meter digit photos: a photo you explicitly take is processed on-device for text recognition and deleted immediately after recognition or cancellation.
- Tariff request: the selected utility code and billing-period date are sent to the Brojilo tariff service. Meter readings, bill totals, saved records, name, email, and precise location are not sent.
- Local settings and records: meter settings, calculated results, tariff cache, theme choice, and any App PIN hash are stored only in the app’s private storage on your device.
3. How data is used
Camera input is used only to time visible meter events or recognize digits. Utility and date values are used only to return the matching cited tariff rule. Local records are used to show your saved measurement history. A salted one-way App PIN hash and Android’s biometric prompt are used only to control access to the app.
4. Data sharing and service providers
Brojilo does not sell personal data and contains no advertising or analytics SDK. Tariff requests are processed by a Cloudflare Worker and D1 database operated for Brojilo; Cloudflare may process standard network information such as IP address as part of delivering and securing the request. Google ML Kit text recognition runs on-device; Google Play services may download the recognition model, but Brojilo does not upload meter photos to Google.
5. Retention and deletion
Saved measurements remain until you delete them in Settings → Saved records or uninstall the app. Cached tariff data and settings are removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Meter digit photos are deleted immediately after processing. The tariff service does not create user accounts or retain Brojilo measurement records.
6. Send Feedback
The Send Feedback action opens your chosen email app. Brojilo sends nothing by itself. If you send an email, the content and address you provide are handled by your email provider and received by the developer for support.
7. Children’s privacy
Brojilo is a household utility tool and is not directed to children under 13. It does not provide accounts, public profiles, chat, or user-generated content.
8. Changes to this policy
This page may be updated when Brojilo’s features or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
