2) What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how BakiNir handles information when you use the app, including local ledger data, reminders, backups, and optional diagnostic logs.

3) Information we collect

BakiNir is designed as a local-first bookkeeping app.

• Data you enter: party names, optional phone numbers, transaction amounts, notes, and business name.
• App settings: language, reminder preferences, backup preferences, privacy toggles, lock settings.
• Local diagnostics: optional crash logs and local analytics event logs stored on your device when enabled.
• Shared outputs: statement PDFs/images and exported logs only when you choose to generate/share them.

BakiNir does not require account signup, and the shipped app code does not include ad SDKs or remote analytics SDKs.

4) How we use information

• Provide core ledger features (record entries, balances, reports, statements).
• Enable reminders and backup workflows based on your settings.
• Improve reliability using optional, consent-based local crash logs.
• Generate exports and share content only when you trigger those actions.

5) Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

Data sharing happens only in these cases:

• User-initiated sharing: when you share statements, reminders, or logs via Android share sheet.
• Legal requirements: if disclosure is required by law.

6) Third-party services

• No third-party ad/analytics/crash SDK in shipped app code.
• Platform components: Android OS and Google Play distribute the app and provide platform security/update infrastructure.

7) Data retention

Ledger data and settings are stored on your device until you delete entries, clear app data, restore another backup, or uninstall the app. Backup files created by the app remain in app storage until deleted by retention rules, manual cleanup, or uninstall.

8) Permissions

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: used only for reminder notifications if you enable reminder features.

BakiNir does not request camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, or location permissions.

9) Your controls and deletion options

• Disable reminders in app settings.
• Turn off crash reporting consent at any time in app settings.
• Delete entries/parties directly inside the app flow where available.
• Clear app data from Android settings to remove local app data.
• Uninstall the app to remove app-private storage.

10) Security

BakiNir includes app lock controls such as PIN lock, optional biometric unlock, secure screen behavior while locked, and inactivity timeout lock options. No storage or transmission method is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable safeguards.

11) Children's privacy

BakiNir is a small-business bookkeeping app and is not directed to children under 13.

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when app behavior or legal requirements change. Updated versions will be published at https://privacy.saifullah.ai.
