This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use AynPause (the "App").

3) Information stored by the app

AynPause lets you save reminder settings, break duration settings, sound and vibration preferences, and completed break counts. This information is stored locally on your device.

AynPause does not create accounts, does not use analytics, does not use ads, does not include in-app purchases, and does not request internet access. The app does not transmit your settings or break history to us or to third parties.

4) Permissions

• Notifications: Used only to show local 20-20-20 eye break reminders.
• Run at startup: Used only to restore enabled reminders after your device restarts.
• Vibration: Used only if vibration is enabled for reminder notifications.

5) How information is used

• Show your selected reminder interval, break duration, and reminder status inside the app.
• Schedule local notifications while reminders are enabled.
• Show daily and total completed break counts.

6) Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. AynPause does not send reminder settings or break counts to any server.

7) Data retention and deletion

Your records remain on your device until you delete them. You can clear local break history from inside AynPause. You can also remove local app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage in Android settings.

8) Health notice

AynPause is a personal reminder tool only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency guidance. It does not diagnose or treat eye strain, dry eye, headaches, vision changes, or any eye condition. For eye pain, sudden vision changes, severe dryness, frequent headaches, injury, or ongoing symptoms, contact a qualified eye care professional or local emergency services.

9) Security

AynPause keeps its data in local app storage provided by Android. Device-level protections such as your screen lock, device encryption, and Android app sandboxing help protect local data on your device.

10) Children's privacy

AynPause is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
