AyatTales Privacy Policy

1) Intro / What the App Does

AyatTales helps users read Quranic stories with summaries, Quran references, key lessons, tafsir notes, related stories, bookmarks, search, filters, reading progress, and reader settings.

The app is built by Saifullah Ahad. It is intended for learning and reflection, not for issuing religious rulings. For fiqh, personal cases, or religious rulings, please consult qualified scholars.

2) Data We Collect

AyatTales does not require an account and does not collect personal data during normal reading. The app does not include ads, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, payment SDKs, login SDKs, push notifications, camera access, microphone access, location access, contacts access, or storage/media permissions.

If you choose to use the Send Feedback feature, the app sends the following information:

• The feedback message you type.
• Your email address, only if you choose to provide it for a reply.
• Basic technical details included with the message, such as app name, app version, Android version, SDK version, device manufacturer, and device model.

AyatTales stores the following app data locally on your device:

• Bookmarks and opened-story state.
• Reading progress for stories you open.
• Language, text-size, list mode, and theme preferences.
• Bundled story content and local database records used to run the reading library.

3) How We Use the Data

Local app data is used to provide core reading features, such as bookmarks, progress, continue-reading, offline availability state, search, filters, and reader settings.

Feedback data is used only to understand bug reports, feature ideas, and user comments about AyatTales. If you provide an email address, it may be used to reply to you about your feedback.

4) Data Sharing

AyatTales does not sell user data and does not use user data for advertising or tracking.

If you send feedback, the feedback message, optional email address, and technical details are sent to Web3Forms as a service provider/relay so the message can be delivered to the developer. Web3Forms has its own privacy practices, available at https://web3forms.com/privacy.

The About Developer screen may open external links, including Google Play, GitHub, the developer website, email, dialer, or other Saifullah apps. Those external apps and websites are governed by their own privacy policies.

5) Data Retention and Deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you clear the app storage or uninstall AyatTales. You can also clear reading cache from inside the app settings.

Because AyatTales has no account system, there is no server-side user account or profile to delete. If you previously sent feedback and want that message or email address deleted from developer records, email www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com and describe the request.

6) Send Feedback

The Send Feedback feature is optional and user-initiated. No feedback is sent unless you type a message and tap Send.

Feedback is submitted over HTTPS to Web3Forms and relayed to www.saifullah.ai@gmail.com. Please do not include sensitive personal information in feedback messages.

7) Children's Policy

AyatTales is a general religious reading/reference app and is not submitted as a child-directed app or as part of Google Play's Designed for Families program.

The app does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child sent personal information through feedback, contact us and we will help remove it from developer records.

8) Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if AyatTales changes its features, permissions, SDKs, or data practices. The effective date above will show when the latest version took effect.
