All information you enter into the app (passwords, usernames, recovery codes, secure notes, PINs, and account details) is stored locally on your device using an encrypted local database. No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.
The app does not use any analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
The app does not request internet permission and works fully offline.
4) How we use information
All data you enter is used solely to provide the app's core functionality on your device:
- Storing and displaying your credentials, notes, and account details.
- Enabling search, categories, and favorites within the app.
- Allowing you to export and import your data for personal backup.
No data is transmitted, analyzed, or processed outside of your device.
5) Sharing and disclosure
We do not share, sell, or disclose any of your data. Since no data leaves your device, there is nothing to share.
The app does not use any third-party services or SDKs that collect data.
6) Data retention
Your data remains on your device for as long as you keep the app installed. You can delete individual entries at any time within the app. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all stored data from your device.
7) Your choices and controls
- Biometric lock: You can enable biometric authentication to protect access to the app.
- Export: You can export your data for personal backup at any time.
- Delete: You can delete any credential, note, or account entry individually.
- Uninstall: Removing the app deletes all data permanently.
8) Permissions
Amana requests only the following permission:
- Biometric hardware: Used to authenticate you when opening the app. This is optional and can be managed in the app settings.
The app does not request internet, camera, location, storage, contacts, or any other permissions.
9) Security
Your data is stored in a local database on your device. The app uses biometric authentication to prevent unauthorized access. Since no data is transmitted over any network, there is no risk of interception during transit.
10) Children's privacy
Amana is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11) Changes to this policy
