AccessMate is a free offline-first accessibility toolkit. The app is designed to work without an account, ads, analytics, tracking, or cloud sync.
AccessMate does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
The app does not request internet permission. Data entered in the app stays on the user's device unless the user intentionally shares it through Android's share sheet or dials a phone number from the emergency profile.
AccessMate can store the following locally:
Android backup is disabled for AccessMate.
Camera text reading uses on-device text recognition. Speech recognition depends on the speech engine installed on the user's Android device. AccessMate itself does not send speech, images, notes, or profile details to a server.
AccessMate is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency service dispatch. In a serious emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
Everything AccessMate records stays on your device. We do not store or retain your data on any server, so there is nothing for us to keep, share or delete. On the device your entries stay until you delete them in the app, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall AccessMate — Android removes the app’s private data when it is uninstalled. We keep no backups of your content, no analytics profiles and no advertising identifiers.
